There is Wine which is a windows compatability layer
Installing and Using Wine on Ubuntu

A list of Windows apps. that work using Wine can be found on the Wine Application Database (AppDB)

Wine will not run all windows applications and it should be considered somewhat of a compromise rather than an absolute solution
LUg.
What you’re looking for is a program called WINE. Look it up in Ubuntu’s package manager and you will find it. Just a warning, though. Don’t expect to be able to run all your typical Windows software in WINE. Some programs don’t work so well with it. One example being iTunes, which doesn’t work with WINE at all. And it may not work well with certain PC games either.
Use the WINE windows application layer. it works with lots of programs but not all. You could also try running windows inside a virtual machine or dual booting
I use Wine, however, keep in mind, you are running Linux which has thousands of windows alternatives.
Try Alternativeto.net, it’s been extremely useful in my experience.
