how to ftp (gui) from linux (debian/sid)?

use Konqueror, Mozilla based browers(Firefox included) don’t have the same FTP support as IE. Generally Konqueror is pre-installed in some debian distros like Ubuntu
try this on any web-browser you got. I am sure it works with IExplore, as it has the ftp built in.
try typing in url as the
ftp://yourID@domain.com
This should ask you for password and shoudl give you directory structure of your login.

I suggest using an online FTP like FTP Live http://www.ftplive.com
You can use any OS or any computer with an internet connection.
