how to copy files from harddisk to flashdisk in Linux Mandriva?

huahh I know nothing about Mandriva I’m using right now..
even I can’t open files in my flash disk..

If you’re using either the GNOME or KDE desktop (I use GNOME), connect the flash drive to the computer, and a window will pop up showing the files. Drag files into it. When you’re done, before disconnecting the drive (this is important) right-click on the icon for the drive on the desktop, and choose "unmount volume" (it might be called something slightly different in KDE, I don’t know).
That’s it. It should be very easy
If you are having problems opening the files, you’d need to be more specific about what’s actually happening — does an icon show up on the desktop for the flash drive? if so, are you double-clicking on files? do you get error messages? does the computer shoot out sparks and make loud banging noises? Which release of Mandriva Linux? (older versions can’t read NTFS-formatted drives)…
