I just installed Linux OS on my Dell Laptop (with a Wireless card and I can’t get on the internet wirelessly. I don’t think my OS detects my wireless card (internal).

what is the chipset of your wireless card?
you might need to enable/download the correct drivers for the card. if it’s a broadcom card, you probably need ndiswrapper.

ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net
Just did it automatically on my Ubuntu 7.10 laptop. All I had to do was enter my passkey when prompted. Which wireless card are you using?
you will need to find drivers for linux which there might not be any you might want to buy one http://icomputel.com/u/y
