How do I use Nero in Linux?

I need to burn an ISO image in Kubuntu, and I downloaded Nero. It looks like a brown box and it has RPM written on it. It’s sitting in the desktop and when I click on it it asks me what I want to open it with. What? I just want to open Nero and burn the ISO file to a CD. What do I do?

Yes I go along entirely with what ‘slacker’ said and take a look at Brasero http://projects.gnome.org/brasero/ which is included in Kubuntu 8.04
LUg.
RPM isn’t Kubuntu’s native package format, you need a DEB package.
But I strongly suggest you use K3B or Brasero, one of them should be preinstalled
