how do i get Debian Linux?

is it where i have to buy the CD, or can u download if off the internet? thanks!

One thing you should be aware of when installing Debian is that you only need the first disk. The rest are just filled with software you can get later on in the repositories. If you want a full installation with all the software, it’d take over a day and it’d require over 8 DVDs or around 50 CDs.

You can install the disk image *iso file* and burn it to a disk
