The default (top of the list) is Mandriva, and I want it to default to Windows. Any advice?

wahts the bootloader is it grub or lilo, if its grub i think you just swap the order around, but im not to sure so try mandrivas forums to make sure
In ubuntu and sabayon I edit /boot/grub/menu.lst
I change default from the current default OS to the one I want. It is a number, the first OS being 0 (not 1).
It is easier to change that one number than cutting and pasting to change boot order.
