how do get my windows files over to linux?

windows is evil, i’m slowly waking to this fact, i have a bunch of files i need on a hardrive with fat32 and dos partition, i want them to work with mandrake linux, but the drive does not appear, and i’m afraid to mount it, because i don’t know what will happen.

I’m using Ubuntu and fedora…
So… i don’t know about Mandrake Linux…
But… i had the same prob on those Linux versions
Try hard… It’s not that easy like windows…
but… you can do it… try it…

Linux doesn’t support the hard drive type. Why don’t you copy the files to a USB stick or burn them on a CD?
