how can i use windows xp and redhat linux in single system?

You can either add a new hard drive, use an existing hard drive or partition, or create a new partition.

Two hard drives, must set computer to start on each drive separate. cannot switch OS without restart.
There are a few ways to do this. If you’re not too tech savvy, I would recommend using software that runs on your computer, such as:
1 – VirtualBox by Sun Microsystems (tough to install)
2 – VMWare (easier to install, free registration is required)
If you are a tech savvy user, you could always use partitions. I don’t recommend this because it can cause all sorts of issues, but it is possible. It just divides up your hard drive like it’s several drives. Two guides for this procedure are listed below.
