depends on what you want to serve, with your Intranet server…
files for windows clients?
printers
web portal?
there is no generic "(SuSE / Intranet) server" setup
you have to make a list on what you want on that server, look for a software / program that will do each job and then google for instructions on how to set each software up, specifically, on your SuSE (Opensuse?) server (9.x, 10.x ?)
welcome to the sysadmin world
PS: you may actually want to have a look at
http://susewiki.org/index.php?title=Category:Howto
as a starter…
When looking for info like this for Linux, the key search term is "howto" which are typically detailed documents on how to accomplish a variety of tasks.
For "hotwo intranet server" I found: http://tldp.org/HOWTO/Intranet-Server-HOWTO.html
While that isn’t specific to SuSE, it is detailed.
