debian linux question?

i just installed it on my mac, but i only got a command shell
i was wondering to get a normal interface
my ram are 256 mb it is a mac, and it has no internet

You have to install an environment from the RPMs. KDE, Gnome, etc.

Get a copy of UBUNTU it automatically installs the GUI. You can download it or order a CD from http://www.ubuntu.com
