i too faced this situation when i completed my b.tech
but i chooged the wayis good
that way is networking
its good but u need to sacrifice many things like time, strength and talant
why because
networking is good field
CCNA and linux both are differnt fields
1st let me know one thing is, r u perfect in hardware(pc troubleshoot and cables)?
if u r perfect in hardware networking then its easy to do CCNA
else u 1st join in N+ course k
without knowing hardware u contdo anything in CCNA
and u didnt get job also
if
u r perfect in hardware then go through CCNA or LINUX or MCITP
its ur choice
now a days in market LINUX is more demand to compare CCNA
am sure
even in my company also their are more requirements in RHCE to freshers also
but CCNA means every company look for experienced persons only
hope u understand
please select best answer
if u hav any doubts then contact to my email id

linux
well where do we start, Microsoft is a company which has grown up since the 1980’s
it was the first to commercial port software to the masses, it’s tactics where anything but Honorable in the beginning as they took data from other companies and called there own.
they have produced a world wide company capable of almost ruling the world with some sometimes question able software not always tried and tested as it should be.
they do training packages and do run technical courses on the subject.
but a lot of the courses are just company produced, component products. in other words not a lot of use unless you use there software products.
the Linux foundation was set up by founder who was looking for a way to port unix onto the intel platform of processors. so he could originally work from home. Linus Torvalds was the first then through networking around the world linux has been distributed into many forms or flavor’s.
it is self training so you need to spend time with it.
The internet is based on routers the majority are programmed using UNIX which is the a product originally produced by bell laboratories in the USA in about 1955 used mostly on main frame computers. but later with linus and others ingenuity to program the routers later. apache is one of the linuxes best simple ideas.
Linux is a free software package in that no one is meant to make profit from the software itself.
but consultation fees may be charged for installing and configuring it for business purposes.
linux is probably the next biggest business in the internet world and it is reliable.
CISCO or as it better known as the routers biggest manufacturer has been around like Linux for some years invented by a husband and wife team who like Linus wanted to work from home with there company offices. it has training packages on there products some of the best in the world. and there products are second to none for performance, a ccnp professional can still get the best salary of all.
for his efforts compared to the likes of Microsoft which products do have a tendency to a bit unreliable.
so looking for a career in IT become that CCNP Professional and learn how to use LINUX as a second string to your Bow my friend.
You will see the string of so called qualifications from Microsoft along the way but they don’t mean too much. when in a computer store this young man was in there buying a motherboard to use for a server and he wanted a dual processor board with scsi interfaces so he could run raid with 8 hard drives with bit stripping. that was before the days of the dual core processors we have today.
well the guys, didn’t have one so. I asked this lad why he wanted such an item having been a systems manager with a big telecommunications company thinking he may need some suggestions where to go and buy such an item.
his reply was he was going to use it for gaming purposes, so when i challenge the idea he produces this wallet which is like 2 inches thick and it full of MICROSOFT courses he has taken and past which are as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
so it has more to do with what you can learn by yourself than from Microsoft. they are only interested in there own products which have problems with reliability.
so go with CCNP which is what you really need after CCNA.
