WINE will run both of them, even though I suggest to use openOffice.
The Links below will tell you what you need to know
There are ways to try and get M$ Office to work (wine and others) but it is dodgy. Why not use OpenOffice instead? I have used OO almost exclusively for the last 4+ years and found it more than up to the task (I have posted other more detailed msgs on this in the past). I have created & shared doc, xls and ppt files with M$ office users – no problem.
Quickbooks? Google it "quickbooks linux" and see what you find, since the results will tell you what you will need to do, so you can decide if you actually want to go through the steps indicated.
