i want to grow mandrake roots, can i sow this var of mandrake now or should i wait till spring ?

mandrake (mandragora offinarum and autumnalis) can be sown any time of year .You will get better results if you sow in autumn or spring .The reason being that a cold snap sometimes triggers germination .
