On your specific model of cellphone, most likely not – some of the hardware in your phone may not have Linux drivers for it. OTOH, both Motorola and Nokia already have phones running Linux AFAI can remember, and T-Mobile’s HTC Dream phone running Google’s Android (Linux-based) platform is on sale in the USA (http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/blog/2008/oct/16/tmobile-googlephone).
The other "big noise" in the Linux-on-cellphones arena is Openmoko. I bought a FreeRunner, which not only enables you to hack on the software yourself, but to install ("flash") your distribution of choice from among quite a few, and to customize it to your satisfaction Take a look at: http://wiki.openmoko.org/wiki/FAQ and specs (http://openmoko.com/product.html)
Yes, it means buying a new phone and waiting for the software stack to stabilize and mature, but oh, the freedom!
no, well as far as i know. But if u eventually do please let me know
theoretically you can do anything, practically- you should be a real wizz. But usually wizz don’t ask that kind of questions.
SO my answer is NO
You can assuming you have a phone with the necessary specs for a linux OS that’s designed for mobile phones. For the most part you would need a pocket PC or something similar.
well. it all depends on your carrying capacity. like how many gigabytes your phone has. so i would say you need to upgrade it first to a 2008 and then yes you can install it because it has more space. but it all depends
post a pix of it.
What model is it?

I am a Phone (Ph)reak/Geek and I could help you.
