Best Linux Version to use?
Alright I tried Mandrake,It had a nice user interface..etc but didnt run well with my hardware and some software..etc like my verizion Dsl..etc.. What would you reccomend to use..red hat..?
Would like something that has nice interface,feats. and can run win xp software and my hardware,also what type of dual boot software would be best but not alot of Mulah?

Grub is the best booting software, and it’s included in many distributions… You can download it separetly if you prefer.
For your system specifications I guess you should take a look at Mepis. (http://www.mepis.org/ ). It’s default desktop is KDE.
Another option would be Knoppix which runs directly from the cd, without needing any installation. http://www.knoppix.org/
well most Linux distro’s come down to personal preference but i personally like the open suse Linux has a great interface, easy to use and i didn’t really have any problems setting it up. As far as dual booting Linux i have never personally never gotten that to work very well what i do is run windows xp with parallels installed and run my Linux in a virtual environment i think that cost me 50 bucks and has linux support built in

and run linux without installing…..
u can also save your doc. or prog and setting on flash disk or on hdd…
