Are there any Linux systems that come with wireless capabilities?

Are there any open source Linux (free) systems that I don’t have to program wireless connectivity // my drivers into? I’m a little tired of having to re-install my wireless drivers every kernal update on Ubuntu 8.10.

Creating an ISO image might keep the driver intact.
EDIT: Oh updates, might be another problem. Maybe see if there are other Gnome Operating Systems that do better with Updates and Wireless.
Even try UpGrading or DownGrading, the whole Operating System or try Re-Burning Ubuntu on a fresh CD or DVD, and see if theres anymore issues.

You should ask at the ubuntu forum how to setup your wireless so that you don’t have to reinstall the drivers after every kernel update. Tell them all the info: which wireless card and chip, which driver, how you install it.
Good luck
