Meg wants to come in also, but you know what a nut Meg can be. We will have a wild thyme if that witch hazel stays away from herb. Ginger will be smoking some of her chickweed with Jasmine just to nettle that old horehound, Colonel Mustard. Our bovine friend will be wearing her cowslip escorted by that odd duck Mr. Mandrake. I hope this spices things up.
Thanks for the sage advice.

I want to take parts of office works to home and take back finished works to office via USB pen drive. I heard pen drives are only compatible with windows 98 and later versions. PS READ CAREFULLY:
I already have the the latest version of RealPlayer but it cannot play .mpeg or .avi(I haven’t tried other formats). I have the setup for VLC in tar.gz format. Is it a correct software? If it is, how to install it on Linux(please give me precise step-by-step answer as I have already tried the Readme file. I hardly understood). If you have any other player in .rpm or something, suggest me and provide me with the link to download. I am really obsessed with Linux. Guys PS HELP!!

can i move the iTunes song files from windows that i have onto something like rhythmbox or songbird on linux? I’m thinking this might be true because songbird can import iTunes songs. I’m just asking how I move that to a linux version of songbird or something. Do I just use a flash drive? would that work?
By the way, I know about Wine. I just don’t want to have to use Wine to use iTunes.

I am interested in what the benefits of open software model are to original software writers (not users). I more or less understand the concept from users standpoint (they can modify it, just like Linux, etc.) What I would like to know is what would a developer gain by releasing his software into community. He cannot charge for it anymore, even if he still holds IP rights like patents. Charging for support, not licenses? Quick market penetration? What else? Thanks.

… Lily, Daisy, Ivy, Willow, or Petunia. Please suggest some that are used exclusively for men, other than the only two that i have thought of: Timothy and Mandrake.
