Actually running Atlassian Confluence. I read some old docs that said that threads are simulated on linux by proceses, but those docs also said that ps had been fixed to not show those threads any more. Does ps in recent Debian (3.1) release still show java threads as separate processes?

I have a PC with C: and D: drive. Old OS is Window ME. I plan to clean format them and install Linux OS. How could I do it? In particular, how can I format the C: and D: drive.

I have both Mandrake Linux 9.0 and Windows XP Home Edition operating system. But I can’t open the Mandrake Linux because of I can’t enter the login (My login is "satria", but when I enter, it always shows as "satr5a", I think I have input the wrong keyboard configuration when I was installing it). Unfortunately, the Mandrake Linux has used 10 GB from Windows partition and I can’t open it to unistall it. So, what should I do? Can I uninstall the Mandrake Linux from Windows, and how? I install the Linux in Toshiba Notebook. Please help me to solve this problem. Also tell me the step how to uninstall it.

coz we’re running it on VMWare… OMG please…the OS is Windows
using NVIDIA Geforce 5500
then we’re using an app…
similar with Virtual PC
called VMWare…then using Linux within it. But it doesnt recognized the NVIDIA on that Linux…dunno why,
i’m using Fedora 8 on it. :( sad

So i was reading news today and came across a ps3 which was turned into a linux OS computer (pretty sweet i know) did some google searching and found a method for an xbox (not 360) for the same idea so since i don’t own a ps3 nor a xbox i was wondering if this method or a similar one is possible for a Xbox 360 links and info would be awsome thank you

How hard is it to up grade a "Shuttle XPC X27" with Ubuntu Linux OS to Windows XP MCE OS? Are there complications that I may encounter changing the OS or should it be a fairly simple process?
